Kris Meeke achieves a new best performance at the end of the second special of the Tour de Corse. The Citroën driver signs his second scratch in two specials by ahead of Sébastien Ogier (Ford) 3″2. The Briton took the opportunity to increase his lead to 8″9.
Third in the ES at 6″2, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) conserve sa troisième place au classement général devant Ott Tänak (Ford) who takes a little margin against Dani Sordo (Hyundai), after having beaten the Spaniard by 5″2.
Craig Breen (Citroën) reste sixième devant Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) et Hayden Paddon (Hyundai). Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) gagne une place à la faveur des soucis hydrauliques sur la Ford Fiesta de Elfyn Evans qui concède plus de 2′ sur ce second secteur chronométré.
The top 10 is completed by the Skoda Fabia R5 of Andreas Mikkelsen, who was provisionally the fastest in WRC-2 ahead of Eric Camilli (Ford) and Teemu Suninen (Ford).
