Corsica-ES3: Ogier remains untouchable

Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) a encore augmenté son avance dans le second passage de La Porta – Valle di Rostino. Le leader du Tour de Corse a bouclé l’ES3 en 31’44’’1 en devançant d’une dizaine de secondes Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), son plus proche adversaire. Kris Meeke (Citroën) a lâché près de sept secondes au Belge en devançant de deux secondes Ott Tänak (Toyota). Esapekka Lappi (Toyota), Dani Sordo (Hyundai), Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) et Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) suivent à une demi-minute. Bryan Bouffier (M-Sport) s’est classé à 49 secondes.

Sébastien Ogier now has more than 33 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville who took second place, 4”4 ahead of Kris Meeke. Ott Tänak follows at six seconds. Elfyn Evans still completes the Top 5 by marking the break in the crews WRC since he is more than 26 seconds behind the Estonian. Dani Sordo is only two seconds behind the Welshman but has less than three seconds ahead of Esapekka Lappi. Andreas Mikkelsen took eighth place, six tenths ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala. Bryan Bouffier completes the Top 10.

Jan Kopecky (Skoda) retains the lead in WRC 2, now having a lead of almost 17 seconds over Yoann Bonato (Citroën). Ole Christian Veiby (Skoda) follows in third place with a few seconds ahead of the French Pierre-Louis Loubet (Hyundai) and Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën).
