Corsica-SS5: Meeke returns to Neuville

Kris Meeke (Citroën) regained more than four seconds from Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) dans les 35,61km de Cagnano – Pino – Canari, l’ES5 du Tour de Corse où Sébastien Loeb (Citroën) s’est montré le plus rapide avec un temps de 21’58’’6. Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) a été le plus proche avec 1’’4 de retard. Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) a lâché quatre secondes au Nord-Irlandais. Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) a suivi à une douzaine de secondes de la référence en devançant Ott Tänak (Toyota) by two seconds. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) finished almost 15 seconds behind, ahead of Elfyn Evans (M-Sport), Dani Sordo (Hyundai) and Bryan Bouffier (M-Sport).

Sébastien Ogier maintains a lead of 34”2 over Thierry Neuville who now only has half a second ahead of Kris Meeke. Ott Tänak remains in fourth place ahead of Esapekka Lappi. Elfyn Evans remains sixth with two seconds ahead of Dani Sordo, followed less than seven seconds by Jari-Matti Latvala. Andreas Mikkelsen is only a second behind the Finn. Bryan Bouffier still completes the Top 10.

En WRC 2, Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) went off the road while in fourth place. Jan Kopecky (Skoda) remains at the head of the category with 21 seconds ahead of Yoann Bonato (Citroën), while Ole Christian Veiby (Skoda) still completes the top three, now ahead of Pierre-Louis Loubet (Hyundai).
