Sébastien Ogier (Ford) réalise le meilleur temps de l’ES6 au Tour de Corse en bouclant les 48,71 km de La Porta – Valle di Rostino en 32’15″9 et devance Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) de 5″ et Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) de 6″.
A performance which allows the Frenchman to come back to 2″2 behind Neuville in the general classification. Dani Sordo (Hyundai) retains third place in the general classification, but sees Latvala now at 11″3. The Finn took the advantage Craig Breen (Citroën), now ranked fifth, two tenths behind Latvala. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) follows in sixth position.
En WRC-2, Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda) is heading towards a new best time, provisionally ahead of Teemu Suninen (Ford) by 0″9. Mikkelsen still dominates the category ranking ahead of Teemu Suninen at 1'06″2. Stéphane Sarrazin, who is not registered in the category for the championship, remains 23″6 behind Mikkelsen, and in eighth position overall.
Le top 10 du classement du Tour de Corse est complété par Suninen et Yohan Rossel (Citroën). En R-GT, Romain Dumas (Porsche), devancé par François Delecour (Abarth 124 Rally) dans ce secteur chronométré, reste en tête de l’épreuve.
