Jaguar has confirmed the development of two cars rally based on the F-Type convertible, as part of the celebrations of 70 years of sports cars from the British brand. Tribute is also paid to the Jaguar XK 120 registered NUB 120 which had shone on the Alpine Rallies of the 50s, and winner of the RAC in 1953.
The F-Type is powered by the 2,0 hp 300-liter four-cylinder unit, and meets FIA specifications via the work of Jaguar Design Engineering. The developments mainly concern the brakes, the suspension, the addition of a rollbar, racing seats with six-point harnesses, and a specific headlight ramp.
