In an almost full Algarve Stadium, Henning Solberg took the lead Rally of Portugal this evening at the end of the first super-special. The Stobart driver beat Dani Sordo in his duel.
The Spaniard places his Citroën C4 WRC in second place ahead of Mikko Hirvonen, who had placed a Portuguese flag on the roof of his Ford Focus RS WRC, and Sébastien Loeb.
Continuation of the rally tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. SS2 at 10:15 a.m. (11:15 a.m. in France).
