Unhappy at the start of yesterday, then distinguishing himself with two scratches, then victim of a puncture last night, PG Andersson shines again. At the end of the 18,15 kilometers of SS10, he is ahead of the very fast Petter Solberg by 1”4. The latter was nevertheless penalized 10” for having clocked in late. Latvala (+2 »1) brings the nose of his Ford Fiesta just behind. Sébastien Ogier manages to insert his DS3 between the two Fords, while Mikko Hirvonen loses 8”4. Victim of a puncture, Loeb fails to do better than 7th. The seven-time world champion failed 0”8 behind Mads Ostberg, still leader, but with only 0”4 ahead of Hirvonen. Kimi Räikkönen comes just behind at over 27”.
