Petter Solberg wins the last stage of the morning. He achieved a very good time, allowing him to recover 11?? on the new general leader, Mikko Hirvonen. As could be expected, the Ford driver got the better of Ostberg, by only 0??3. In the ranking, Solberg returns to 31?? of the leader.
PG Andersson once again shines at the forefront. The Swede is one of the only ones to limit the damage against Solberg (+3??8). Latvala, Ogier, Hirvonen and Ostberg all conceded ground to the Norwegian, who was truly imperial at the start of the day. Sebastian Loeb (+15.1) definitely fails to catch up, he finishes 7th just ahead of Räikkönen (+26 »9).
