Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) signed his 8th scratch at the Rally of Finland by completing the 11,76km of Laukaa in 5'44''9 with more than a second ahead of his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala. Mads Ostberg (Ford) followed almost 3s ahead of Ott Tänak (Ford) and Teemu Suninen (Ford). Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a signé le 7e temps à 4’’6 de la référence juste derrière Craig Breen (Citroen).
Esapekka Lappi now has a 4”6 lead over Jari-Matti Latvala. Teemu Suninen remains 3rd ahead of Craig Breen who took 4th place from Juho Hänninen (Toyota) for a 2”4 lead. Mads Ostberg also gained a position by taking 6th place from Elfyn Evans (Ford) by 6 tenths. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) remains 8th with 7 seconds ahead of Kris Meeke (Citroën).
