Ott Tänak (Ford) signed a new scratch at Wales Rally GB by winning the 14th special, the second passage of Gartheinog, completing the 11,34km in 7'07''4. The Dmack driver took back this time almost 6 seconds behind Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen). 5''7 behind the reference, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a encore gagné près de 3 secondes sur son coéquipier Hayden Paddon. Kris Meeke (Citroën) perd encore 3 secondes sur le Néo-Zélandais.
Sébastien Ogier maintains 24”8 over Ott Tänak with two courses remaining on the program. Thierry Neuville is now ahead of Hayden Paddon by more than 14 seconds. Kris Meeke is more than half a minute behind the New Zealander.
