Sébastien Ogier (Citroen C4 WRC), who started the first of the last three special stages of the Rally of Portugal with ten seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb (Citroën C4 WRC), keep the pace. The Citroën Junior Team driver only gave up six tenths to his elder and still has every chance of winning. “ I'm attacking as much as I can but I had a problem at the start and I hope it's not too serious. I have to keep attacking like this », Confided Ogier.

There remains a 22 km special and a 2 km super special to compete. If Sébastien Ogier maintains his pace, he should be able to win, while Sébastien Loeb mentions excessive tire degradation on his Citroën C4 WRC.
