Mikko Hirvonen completes the perfect loop in 9'49"2. It widens a significant gap over all of its competitors. Only Ostberg (+2'6) still seems able to find the official Ford driver. Petter Solberg (+11 »4), Sébastien Ogier (+14 »6) and Jari-Matti Latvala (+21 »9) lost a lot of time, the Frenchman managing to take 4th place from the Finn. PG Andersson, 4th in the special, is now ahead of Räikkönen, 8th in Torntorp 1, 32”5 behind the Swede.
