Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) signe son 5e scratch consécutif au Rally of Finland by completing the second passage of the 4,21km of Saalahti in 1'56''4, ahead of his teammate Esapekka Lappi by 7 tenths. Teemu Suninen (Ford) and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) suivent à une seconde juste devant Ott Tänak (Ford). Juho Hänninen (Toyota) is 2s behind and drops 6 tenths to Craig Breen (Citroen).
Jari-Matti Latvala now has an 8”5 lead over Esapekka Lappi. Juho Hänninen remains 3rd but only has a lead of 4 tenths over Teemu Suninen, himself followed less than 6 seconds by Elfyn Evans. Craig Breen is less than 10 seconds from the top five, ahead of Thierry Neuville.
