Kris Meeke (Citroën) won the first of the two special stages of the final stage of the Rally from Mexico. The leader of the event completed the 32,96km of La Calera in 21'53''7, regaining a lead of more than 6 seconds from his direct rival Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport).
Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a suivi à 13s devant ses coéquipiers Dani Sordo et Hayden Paddon qui accusent 20s de retard. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) a repris près de 7s à son coéquipier Juho Hänninen. À noter le 3e temps de Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) reparti en Rally 2 qui se classe à 12s de son coéquipier.
Before the Power Stage, Kris Meeke has a 37'' lead over Sébastien Ogier. The top five remains unchanged with Thierry Neuville 2rd in front Ott Tänak (M-Sport) and Hayden Paddon. Jari-Matti Latvala regained some air on his compatriot Juho Hänninen by having a 6”8 lead. Dani Sordo remains 8th.
