Sébastien Loeb (Citroen C4 WRC) achieves the best time of the second special (Belmeken Lake) of the Rally from Bulgaria. He is ahead of Petter Solberg (Citroën C4 WRC) by 5??9, while Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C4 WRC), third, passes Dani Sordo (Citroën C4 WRC) overall and ranks second, 16??0 behind Sébastien Loeb.
Once again, this SS2 allows us to witness a new Citroën quintuple, with Kimi Räikkönen finishing fifth. In two stages, Sébastien Loeb has already widened a gap of more than forty seconds on Mikko Hirvonen (Ford Focus WRC), sixth and first non-Citroën driver.
In J-WRC, Thierry Neuville manages to get ahead of Mathieu Arzeno but it is the Frenchman who remains at the top of the Junior rankings.
