Sébastien Ogier (Citroen C4 WRC) confirmed his result from the first Sapporo super special, again setting the best time on the second pass. This time the Frenchman beat Kimi Räikkönen (Citroën C4 WRC) by eight tenths.
Mikko Hirvonen (Ford Focus WRC) sets the third fastest time and climbs to second place in the general classification, two seconds behind Sébastien Ogier. Sebastian Loeb (Citroën C4 WRC), author of the fourth fastest time, drops to sixth place in the general classification, behind Kimi Räikkönen and 2??4 behind Sébastien Ogier.
