SS20: Loeb wins in Alsace

Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena (Citroën C4 WRC) have just finished the second pass in the Haguenau special (SS20), Sébastien Loeb's hometown. The Citroën Racing crew finishes the last timed sector of the Rally of France ? Alsace at the top of the general classification and must now reach Strasbourg in order to validate their victory in this event.

Citroën secures a hat-trick in the C4 WRCs with second place for Dani Sordo and third for Petter Solberg. Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford Focus WRC) finished fourth ahead of his teammate Mikko Hirvonen. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C4 WRC), who retired in SS15 on Saturday and was able to restart this Sunday morning, finished sixth.

In 19 special stages contested, Sébastien Loeb achieved seven best times, compared to four for Dani Sordo and Jari-Matti Latvala, three for Petter Solberg, one for Sébastien Ogier.
