Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) gets closer to victory in Rally from France-Alsace. The Frenchman took eight tenths back from Dani Sordo (Mini), his choice of hard tires appearing to be the best. “The tires were too hot at the end of the special. Victory eludes us for this rally but we are still at the forefront”, underlines the Spaniard.

The Citroën driver signs with Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) the scratch of the Cleebourg special in 5:50:3. Petter Solberg (Citroën) finished 3?4 off the reference time.

All that remains for the crews to do is complete the Haguenau Power Stage (4,2km) where other points will be up for grabs. The first car will set off from 13:08 p.m.
