Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) achieved the scratch in the Bucca special by completing the 14,83km of the course in 7:10??6, i.e. 1??3 better than Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) and 5??1 on Sébastien Loeb (Citroen). Petter Solberg (Citroën) finished 5??6 ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala (+ 6??3), who began to slow down to let his teammate take the lead. Rally from Australia.
