On his momentum, Jari-Matti Latvala set the best time of SS3, ahead of Dani Sordo and Mikko Hirvonen. The Ford driver thus confirms his first position in the provisional general classification of the Rally from Portugal.
Sébastien Loeb tries to resist but gives in again 11??2. In the general classification, the winner of the first three events is in fifth place at 35??5. Latvala, Sordo, Grönholm and Hirvonen are in front.
