Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) signe son second scratch d’affilée dans l’ES3 du Rally de Suède en bouclant les 21,26km de Hof-Finnskog en 10’10’’3. Le Belge a battu Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) pour 6 dixièmes. Craig Breen (Citroën) followed a little over 2s ahead of Sébastien Ogier (Ford), Dani Sordo (Hyundai), Elfyn Evans (Ford), Kris Meeke (Citroën) and Mads Ostberg (Ford). Ott Tänak (Ford) is almost 9s behind the benchmark, ahead of Juho Hänninen (Toyota), Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) and Stéphane Lefebvre (DS 3).
Thierry Neuville now has a 4”6 lead over Jari-Matti Latvala who has gained two positions. Kris Meeke still completes the top three at 9s from the Belgian. Dani Sordo climbed to 4th place for 4 tenths ahead of Mads Ostberg, while Ott Tänak fell to 6th position. Elfyn Evans remains 7th ahead of Craig Breen and Sébastien Ogier who are tied. Juho Hänninen completes the top ten after taking the lead over Hayden Paddon by 2s.
