Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) a signé le scratch dans l’ES4 de Svullrya du Rally of Sweden, 24,88km long. With a time of 12'52''3, the Finn took 8''5 back Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) qui a pourtant été le plus proche.
Sébastien Ogier (Ford) follows less than 10 seconds ahead of the Fiestas WRC byOtt Tänak and Mads Ostberg. Kris Meeke (Citroën) followed in 6th place, more than 14 seconds behind the benchmark. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) and Juho Hänninen finished more than 18s behind. Craig Breen (Citroën) lost almost half a minute after breaking a shock absorber. Dani Sordo (Hyundai) also lost time after missing a corner. Elfyn Evans (Ford) lost almost 2 minutes following a puncture while in 7th place.
Jari-Matti Latvala regained the lead for less than 4 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville. Kris Meeke retains 3rd place but is already almost 19s behind the Toyota driver. Sébastien Ogier came back to 3 tenths of the provisional podium by gaining 4 places on the last course. Ott Tänak now completes the top five ahead of Mads Ostberg, Dani Sordo, Craig Breen, Juho Hänninen and Hayden Paddon. Stéphane Lefebvre is on the verge of the top ten.
