While battling for third place at Wales Rally GB, Craig Breen (Citroën) rolled over in Myherin, the 5th special of the event.
Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen) was once again the fastest with a time of 18'01''4, ahead of his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala by 4''8. Ott Tänak (Ford) followed at 7”4, complaining about the rear end of his Fiesta RS WRC. Kris Meeke (Citroën) s’est classé à une dizaine de secondes du scratch en précédant de 4 secondes les Hyundai d’Hayden Paddon et de Thierry Neuville. Dani Sordo (Hyundai) is still marking time, 26 seconds behind the best time.
Sébastien Ogier increased his lead against Ott Tänak to 15 seconds. Jari-Matti Latvala keeps 3rd place, now 6s ahead of Kris Meeke. Hayden Paddon follows the DS 3 WRC by almost 4 seconds. Thierry Neuville is still around ten seconds from the top five.
