Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) a signé le scratch dans le second passage d’Halinen, l’ES5 du Rally from Finland, completing the 7,65km in 3'36''5 with a tenth ahead of his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala. Mads Ostberg (Ford) followed at half a second with two tenths ahead of Craig Breen (Citroën) and Teemu Suninen (Ford). Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a signé le 11e temps provisoire à 3’’5 de la référence.
Jari-Matti Latvala retains the lead of Rally Finland with a lead of 5s over Esapekka Lappi. Craig Breen remains on the provisional podium with a lead of 2 tenths over Teemu Suninen. Mads Ostberg completes the top five with 2 seconds ahead of Kris Meeke (Citroën). Juho Hänninen (Toyota) follows 2 tenths ahead of Elfyn Evans (Ford) and Thierry Neuville.
