The cross-hunting continues. At each special, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) and Dani Sordo (Hyundai) s’échangent les commandes du rally. At the end of SS9, it was the Frenchman's turn to take the lead again.
The special was dominated by Elfyn Evans (Toyota), who set his first scratch time of the weekend. He was five tenths ahead of Sébastien Ogier and Ott Tanak (Hyundai) by 4 »7 seconds.
Dani Sordo lost a lot since he conceded 9”4 on this special stage alone.
In the end, Elfyn Evans, who is extremely consistent today, is gradually gaining time while the other two perform up and down. Ogier leads the way at the end of the first loop with a 6”7 lead over Dani Sordo and 7”5 over Elfyn Evans. Ott Tanak remains in ambush at 15”7 and Esapekka Lappi at 18”5.
