The Frenchman broke his right front axle by hitting a rock in a slow turn while the Japanese went into a series of rollovers at the end of the course. The driver and his co-driver Daniel Barritt were unhurt, but the Yaris was destroyed.

Annoyed after his one-minute penalty the day before, Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) set a new scratch time. Ott Tänak remains placid and manages his lead over his colleague Craig Breen. Enfin, le trio de Ford Fiesta du team M-Sport remontent dans le top 8 grâce aux deux abandons en spéciale.
