Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) a débuté la deuxième étape du Wales Rally GB par un nouveau scratch dans l’ES9 d’Aberhyrnant longue de 13,91km. Le pilote Dmack a signé un chrono de 7’30’’2 avec 2’’5 d’avance sur Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), his closest pursuer. Ott Tänak (M-Sport) followed more than five seconds ahead of his teammate by a few tenths Sébastien Ogier.
Elfyn Evans now has a 30-second lead over Ott Tänak who maintains second place with three seconds ahead of Sébastien Ogier. Thierry Neuville came back to less than seven seconds from the provisional podium.
