Ott Tänak (Toyota) signe son troisième scratch consécutif dans la deuxième étape du Rally de Finlande en bouclant les 23,66km de Kakaristo en 11’40’’4. L’Estonien a encore devancé son rival direct Mads Ostberg (Citroën) de près de 4 secondes. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) a suivi à 7 secondes avec près de 3 secondes d’avance sur son coéquipier Esapekka Lappi qui devance Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) de plus de 4 secondes. Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) took more than 5 seconds from his teammate Elfyn Evans even though he was several seconds behind Lappi.
Ott Tänak now has a lead of almost 23 seconds over Mads Ostberg. Jari-Matti Latvala completes the provisional podium ahead of Hayden Paddon and Teemu Suninen on the verge of being taken over by Esapekka Lappi. Sébastien Ogier recovers 7th place for a little more than 2 seconds ahead of Elfyn Evans. Craig Breen (Citroen) and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) complètent toujours le Top 10.
