Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) sets the best time in the second pass in Kakaristo by setting the reference time in 8'51″5, half a second ahead Ott Tänak (Toyota) et 2″5 devant Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai).
Ott Tänak remains leader of the event, now 13″9 ahead of Lappi and 27″5 over Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota), who seems to have slowed down somewhat in the afternoon, visibly to ensure the Manufacturers points.
Andreas Mikkelsen moved back to fourth position, after overtaking Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) in this ES. The two drivers are separated by 0″4 before the last timed sector of the day. Craig Breen (Hyundai) remains 4″7 behind Ogier.
Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) conserve la 7e place, malgré un train arrière sans doute tordu après cette ES18. Suivent les deux Ford Fiesta – M-Sport de Teemu Suninen et Gus Greensmith. Kalle Rovanperä (Skoda) conserve les commandes en WRC2 Pro devant Eric Camilli (Ford).
