Mads Ostberg (Citroën) intends to resist the attacks of Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota). The Norwegian signed the scratch by completing the 11,74km of Laukaa in 5'28''4, gaining 9 tenths from his main rival.
Ott Tänak conserve une avance de 36 secondes sur Mads Ostberg à trois spéciales de l’arrivée. Jari-Matti Latvala reste encore à 6’’3 du Scandinave. Derrière, tous les pilotes gagnent une place après l’accident d’Esapekka Lappi. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) est le premier à en profiter tandis que Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) retrouve le Top 5 devant ses coéquipiers Sébastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans. Craig Breen (Citroën) progresses to 8th place ahead Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) returns to the Top 10.
