Mads Ostberg (Citroën) scored the scratch in the only passage of Oitilla, the 6th special of the Rally of Finland, completing the 19,34km course in 9'45''3 with a 1''2 lead over his rival Ott Tänak (Toyota). Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) followed almost 4 seconds ahead Craig Breen (Citroën) and Hayden Paddon (Hyundai). Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) a signé le 6e chrono devant son coéquipier Jari-Matti Latvala et Elfyn Evans (M-Sport). Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) is in 9th place ahead of the Hyundais of Andreas Mikkelsen and Thierry Neuville.
Mads Ostberg regains the lead of Rally Finland with a tenth lead over Ott Tänak. Teemu Suninen completes the new provisional podium for a few tenths ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala and Hayden Paddon. Elfyn Evans remains 6th with less than 7 seconds ahead of Sébastien Ogier. Esapekka Lappi remains 8th with only one second ahead of Craig Breen. THierry Neuville completes the Top 10. Andreas Mikkelsen finds himself almost 5 minutes from the lead of the race after leaving service late.
