Second overall before the start of SS15, Dani Sordo (Hyundai) was unable to complete it due to an accident in the first sector.
If the crew escaped unscathed, the same cannot be said of the Spaniard's i20, which was destroyed. With a damaged car, Dani Sordo will not be able to finish his day and thus sees his hopes of victory go up in smoke.
The special was won by Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) who, with a time of 10'23, beat his teammate Elfyn Evans (+0“7) and that of Dani Sordo, Thierry Neuville (+8“8).
Overall, Sébastien Ogier is more leader than ever. Thanks to Dani Sordo's disappointment, the Habs are 40 ahead of Elfyn Evans and more than a minute ahead of Thierry Neuville.
