Dans cette première spéciale du jour où certains ont préféré conserver leurs pneus en vue de la Power Stage (ES20), Elfyn Evans (Toyota) a signé le meilleur temps. Le Gallois a avalé les 15,25 kilomètres de l’ES17 en 8’45“4 devançant ainsi Ott Tänak (Hyundai) and Sébastien Ogier (Toyota).
This special had no impact on the general classification. The last driver mentioned remains in the lead with 34” ahead of Elfyn Evans.
