At bay in this Rally of Italy, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a remporté sa première spéciale du week-end.
Avec un chrono en 5’46, le pilote belge a devancé le duo Toyota, Elfyn Evans (+0“3) and Sébastien Ogier (+0“7) in this SS18.
Unfortunately, this special victory does not change anything for him overall. Thierry Neuville remains more than a minute behind Sébastien Ogier who is getting closer and closer to the final victory. The Habs are currently 33 ahead of Elfyn Evans with only two SS remaining.
