Sébastien Ogier (Citroen C4 WRC) took the lead Rally of Japan by setting the best time on the Sapporo super special, which will be used eight times this weekend. The Gapençais drove in 1?21??8, counting 0??5 on Dani Sordo (Citroën C4 WRC) and a second on Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford Focus WRC) and Mikko Hirvonen (Ford Focus WRC). Sebastian Loeb (Citroën C4 WRC) is fifth, 1??1 behind his teammate.
