Simon Jean-Joseph back in the World Rally Championship? No, but the Martinican driver is present this weekend in Bulgaria, for the seventh round of the WRC. Simon Jean-Joseph has been called up by the Petter Solberg World Rally Team, the Norwegian driver having asked the former European Rally Champion to play the role of usher, a role authorized on the asphalt rallies of the WRC. Familiar with this event having ridden there in ERC, Jean-Joseph will be able to allow Solberg to benefit from his experience.
Note that Alexandre Bengué and Caroline Escudero inherited this role of openers for Sébastien Ogier, while Sébastien Loeb will be helped in this sense by Dominique Heintz and Denis Giraudet.
