Citroën Racing has confirmed that Kris Meeke, forced to retire between SS14 and SS15 this Saturday in Germany following technical problems, would not restart tomorrow during the last stage of the event across the Rhine.
« We got an alarm indicating an engine cooling problem and we stopped. We won't leave tomorrow for three reasons: we don't want to risk breaking the engine, Paul's wife gave birth to a little boy this afternoon and we had nothing to gain on the four short stages of tomorrow." Meeke says.
