Several months after the visit of the president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) Jean Todt in Kasarani (Kenya), the Kenyan government and the promoter of the World Rally Championship (WRC) have signed an agreement to make the legendary Safari Rally a candidate for the WRC.

The meeting took place Thursday at the Automobile Club de France in Paris. Safari Rally seeks return to global calendar for 2020, which has not been seen since 2002.
