Le Rally of Italy will ultimately not pass through Rome as the organizers had initially planned but in Olbia. Likewise, the event was likely to be contested on various surfaces but will ultimately only be run on dirt.
The Italian event will be organized from May 5 to 8, spread over 19 special stages (364,70km timed). Like the Jordan Rally, it will include a bonus special which will be broadcast on television and will offer the best crews additional points.
