Après deux passages au shakedown du Wales Rally GB, Kris Meeke (Toyota) imprime le rythme en signant le meilleur chrono en 2’54″1, 1″1 devant un trio composé des deux Citroën C3 d’Esapekka Lappi et Sébastien Ogier, ainsi que le revenant Elfyn Evans (M-Sport Ford).
Teemu Suninen (M-Sport Ford) follows a tenth behind his teammate and leads by two tenths Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). Ott Tänak (Toyota) is 2″3 behind Meeke and ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) and Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai).
