Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) n’est plus qu’à 11km su succès au Rally from Mexico. The leader of the event reached the finish line of the first passage of Las Minas, which will serve as the Power Stage, without any problems. The five-time world champion achieved the same time as Kris Meeke (Citroën) finishing four tenths behind Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), auteur du meilleur temps provisoire avant d’être battu par Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) qui a amélioré de plus de trois secondes. Ce sera finalement Ott Tänak (Toyota) who will take the scratch with a time of 6'42″9, ahead of his Finnish teammate by 1″4.

Sébastien Loeb (Citroën) followed eight seconds behind by taking 2”6 from Dani Sordo (Hyundai) and 4”7 from Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) who stalled after hitting an embankment.

Sébastien Ogier has a 55-second lead over Dani Sordo with one stage remaining. Kris Meeke remains in third position ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen, Sébastien Loeb and Thierry Neuville.
