Monte-Carlo – SS10: Neuville struggles, Evans goes out

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) took back 3 tenths to Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) in the 10th special of the Rally Monte Carlo. The Belgian finished 6''6 off the scratchOtt Tänak (Toyota), auteur du scratch en bouclant les 16,87km de St-Léger-Les-Mélèzes – La-Batie-Neuve en 10’12’’1. Son coéquipier Jari-Matti Latvala a été le plus proche avec moins de 6 secondes de retard. Kris Meeke (Toyota) a suivi le vice-champion du monde à un dixième.

Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) finished more than 15 seconds behind after stalling at the start. The nine-time champion WRC a fini derrière Teemu Suninen (M-Sport).

Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) retired after going off the road while in 6th position.

 

 

 

Sébastien Ogier returns to mid-stage service with a lead of 5”3 over Thierry Neuville. Jari-Matti Latvala climbs to 3rd place by regaining the advantage over Sébastien Loeb. Ott Tänak completes the Top 5, more than half a minute behind the Alsatian. Kris Meeke took advantage of Elfyn Evans' retirement to take 6th place ahead of Gus Greensmith (Ford), leader of WRC 2 Pro, and Yoann Bonato (Citroën), leader of WRC 2.
