The Frenchman narrowly avoided going off the road after being hampered by a smoke bomb at the side of the track.

Sébastien Ogier now has more than 46 seconds ahead of Ott Tänak at the end of the first pass of the last stage. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) still completes the provisional podium ahead of his teammate Esapekka Lappi who sees Kris Meeke (Citroën) come back 13 seconds from fourth position. Behind, Elfyn Evans has less than nine seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville.
