Monte-Carlo – SS8: Neuville reduces his delay

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a nettement réduit son retard sur Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) in SS8 of Rally Monte-Carlo which closed the second stage. With a time of 13'25''5 at the end of the 18,47km, the Belgian reduced the gap which separates him from the leader of the event by 12 seconds. Ott Tänak (Toyota) a été le plus proche avec 7 secondes de retard devant son coéquipier Jari-Matti Latvala et Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai).

Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) a suivi ensuite à 14 secondes, mais Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) let go more by conceding 22 seconds on the lead of the race. Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) and Kris Meeke (Toyota) were the slowest.

 

 

Sébastien Ogier retains the lead in the Monte-Carlo Rally at the end of the second day, but his lead is only 2 seconds over Thierry Neuville. Andreas Mikkelsen takes 3rd place with just over 7 seconds on Jari-Matti Latvala. The Finn also managed to regain the advantage over Sébastien Loeb who found himself 5th, 8 tenths behind the Yaris WRC. Elfyn Evans is in 6th place ahead of Ott Tänak and Kris Meeke.
