Winner of the first special stage on Saturday morning at Monte-Carlo, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) grapille quelques dixièmes sur le leader Sébastien Ogier (Toyota). Le Français augmente toutefois son avance sur son équipier Elfyn Evans (Toyota) à 2″8.

In mostly icy conditions, Sébastien Loeb achieves the fourth best time and increases his lead over Esapekka Lappi (Ford). The Japanese Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) lost almost four minutes following an improvised trick and a stop to remove the snow accumulated in front of the radiator.

The first R5 competitor, Éric Camilli (Citroën) gains a place in the general classification to the detriment of Takamoto Katsuta.
