With a time of 20'54''0, the Estonian beat his teammate Kris Meeke by 4 tenths. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) was on pace, following less than 3 seconds behind and gaining 3''6 from its direct rival Thierry Neuville (Hyundai).

Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) failed at half a minute, but the Norwegian had more serious problems as he tore off his left rear wheel at the finish line when hitting an embankment. Pontus Tidemand (M-Sport) lost 3 minutes by stopping to change a wheel. Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) stopped with a mechanical problem. Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) lost more than a minute due to a left-rear puncture.

Sébastien Ogier now has a 5”6 lead over Thierry Neuville. Sébastien Loeb gains two positions and finds himself 3rd with 5 seconds ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala. Ott Tänak also gained two places and found himself 5th with half a minute ahead of Elfyn Evans. Kris Meeke remains isolated in 8th place.
Yoann Bonato (Citroën) remains at the head of WRC 2 by occupying 10th place in the general classification between Gus Greensmith (Ford), leader of WRC 2 Pro, and Stéphane Sarrazin (Hyundai), not registered in WRC 2. Adrien fourmaux (Ford) still holds off Guillaume de Mevius (Citroën) for a little over 2 seconds ahead.
