Before turning to the French Grand Prix F1 this weekend at Paul Ricard, Pierre Gasly was able to treat himself to a ride as a passenger in the Citroën C3 WRC de Sébastien Ogier, the two French people being residents of the bosom Red Bull.
The Red Bull Racing driver said he was impressed by the running. “It was a crazy experience, confesses the Norman. This is the first time in my life that I have been in “off-piste mode” and I must say that it is truly incredible.
I was very impressed with the car and Séb's control. It was amazing how hard he could attack. It's completely different from an F1 car. However, being a passenger, I didn't like not having control.
I had Séb next to me, so of course I was completely safe. There's a lot more drift, you're out of the doors all the time. There's a lot less grip than in an F1 car, but the feeling is still incredible. I would love to drive a WRC car one day. »
