Poland-SS7: Suninen sets the best time

Teemu Suninen (Ford), who debuts in the premier category this weekend, was the fastest on SS7 of Rally de Pologne. Le pilote finlandais a réalisé son premier scratch en 7’47″9, et précède Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) de 0″7, et Ott Tänak (Ford) 1″2.

Au classement général, Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota), cinquième de l’ES7 à 3″9, conserve les commandes de la course, mais avec seulement 2″3 sur son nouveau dauphin Ott Tänak. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) slips into third position at 7″9, while Sébastien Ogier (Ford) lost time in this timed sector by losing 15″6 to Paddon, and 9″ to Neuville. The Frenchman is 19″7 behind leader Latvala.

Hayden Paddon consolidates his fourth place ahead of Dani Sordo (Hyundai), Juho Hänninen (Toyota) and Teemu Suninen, back to 4″9 behind Hänninen for the fight for 7th place. Mads Ostberg (Ford) got the better of Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) for ninth place. Elfyn Evans (Ford) lost two places, and fell out of the top 10.
