Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) a perdu une minute dans l’ES6 du Rally of Portugal after losing his brakes in the special while in 3rd place.
Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a signé le scratch provisoire en bouclant les 14,44km d’Arganil en 8’58’’5 avec un peu plus d’une seconde d’avance sur Ott Tänak (Toyota). Les Citroën de Sébastien Ogier and Esapekka Lappi followed about 3 seconds ahead of Kris Meeke (Toyota). Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) was further back, almost 8 seconds behind after stalling, just ahead of Elfyn Evans (M-Sport). Sebastian Loeb (Hyundai) was ranked a dozen seconds behind.
Ott Tänak now has more than 15 seconds ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala. Kris Meeke regains his place on the provisional podium by ahead of Thierry Neuville with a little over 3 seconds ahead. The Belgian took over Sébastien Ogier by 7 tenths. Teemu Suninen fell to 6th place ahead of Esapekka Lappi.
