Mikko Hirvonen (Ford Focus WRC) took the lead Rally of Portugal during the first timed sector, the super special at the Estadio Algarve. He set the best time in 2:09:3 and was a tenth ahead of the surprising Argentinian Federico Villagra (Ford Focus WRC). The Citroën C4 WRCs of Petter Solberg and Dani Sordo follow at seven and eight tenths. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C4 WRC) is sixth, one second behind, Sébastien Loeb (Citroën C4 WRC) at 1??5. Tomorrow, Friday, the first day of the Rally, two loops of three special stages are on the program.
